Following his acclaimed performance as Angad in ‘Teri Meri Dooriyan’, where he received widespread praise for his authentic Punjabi appearance, fans are eagerly awaiting his transformation into Dev. Vijayendra Kumeria in ‘Teri Meri Dooriyan’

Since the announcement of ‘Deewaniyat’, fans have been keen to see how Kumeria will surprise them with this fresh and modern role. The actor recently shared a glimpse of his transformation journey from the character of Angad in ‘Teri Meri Dooriyan’ to Dev in ‘Deewaniyat’.

Reflecting on his experience, Vijayendra Kumeria, who plays Dev in Star Plus’ ‘Deewaniyat’, shared: “I’m having a lot of fun playing Dev because there’s so much freedom in the role. Dev is the younger son of the family and has a playful, happy-go-lucky nature. I’m doing things I’ve never done before. Playing something completely different from who you are is an incredible feeling, and portraying it convincingly is an achievement. Angad in ‘Teri Meri Dooriyan’ was entirely different; he was a Punjabi character that required a lot of meticulous preparation. Dev, however, is a Haryanvi Jaat, so I’ve adjusted my look by losing weight, getting a fresh hairstyle, and adding some swagger to the character’s mannerisms. I’ve even worked on the Haryanvi accent. The character’s look is trendy, and I’m loving it!”
