‘Anupamaa’ star Rupali Ganguly has initiated a defamation suit against her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, in the Bombay High Court.
Rupali’s lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, confirmed the legal move to Times of India, stating, “We have filed a defamation suit in the Bombay High Court today to safeguard Rupali’s integrity and reputation from baseless and malicious allegations. This legal action is a strong reminder that no individual, irrespective of their citizenship or location, can misuse public platforms to defame or degrade others without facing the consequences.”
Khan also elaborated on the details of the case, explaining that the suit was filed in response to false allegations made by Esha Verma against Rupali Ganguly.
