Raju Srivastava “still on a ventilator” says daughter Antara Srivastava

Popular comedian Raju Srivastava, who was hospitalised this morning after suffering a cardiac arrest whilst at the gym, is “still on a ventilator”.

Earlier this week, reports emerged of Raju being taken off the ventilator but his daughter Antara Srivastava has denied this.

In an official statement, she said, “Dear all well-wishers, My dad Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on the ventilator at the moment. Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji’s official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable. The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently. We’re thankful to them and his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery.”

Raju was rushed to hospital on 10th August. He also reportedly suffered brain damage and is currently on ventilator.
