Munawar Faruqui has beaten Abhishek Kumar to lift the ‘Bigg Boss’ season 17 trophy.
The standup comedian, who is celebrating his birthday today, has enjoyed more than 100 days in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.
Taking centerstage with Salman Khan, Faruqui was handed the prestigious trophy along with a Rs 50 lakh cash prize and the all-new Hyundai Creta as his winning prize for the show.In the words of Salman Khan, “Congratulations Munawar! Aap hain iss saal ke Bigg Boss ke winner. Birthday Ka Uparwale ne aapko gift de diya hai. Bohot he acha hai, Mubarak ho!”
Faruqui, who stole hearts with his honest and straightforward gameplay, emerged as the ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 17 winner, leaving behind finalist Abhishek Kumar and other co-contestants Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Srikanth Mahasetty.The results for season 17 were declared after a live voting process, where fans selected their favorite contestant.
