‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ producer denies rumours of leap & Shakti Arora’s exit

Rajesh Ram Singh, the producer of Star Plus’ leading show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin,’ has firmly denied rumours regarding an upcoming leap and the departure of the show’s lead star, Shakti Arora.

Addressing the speculation, Singh shared that Shakti Arora had personally reached out to him after hearing unsettling news about his possible replacement. “Shakti called me and asked if there’s any issue or if he did anything wrong as he had heard news of him being replaced,” Singh recounted. He emphasised the stress and anxiety such rumours can cause actors, who have financial obligations and EMI payments to manage. “Actors have EMIs to pay; they too have financial responsibilities. Suddenly hearing news about being replaced can put them into worry,” he added.

Singh reassured fans and the show’s cast by stating that a leap in the storyline occurs only when the current narrative has run its course. “A leap happens whenever a story gets expired and as of now, there is no leap happening nor is Shakti going anywhere,” he confirmed.
