‘CID’ actor Dinesh Phadnis passes away aged 57

Dinesh Phadnis has passed away, aged 57.

The actor renowned for his part in Sony TV’s ‘CID’, breathed his last in Mumbai on Monday night.

Phadnis starred as Fredericks in the popular series. His co-star Aditya Srivastava confirmed the news and told news agency PTI, “Dinesh has left us around 12:08 am. We know that he had liver issues and it had an impact on the other organs. He was really unwell for two-three days. He couldn’t survive.”

A tribute post was also shared by CINTAA. It said, “CINTAA expresses its condolences on the demise of Dinesh Phandis (Member since Aug 2004)”
