In a surprising turn of events, Anil Kapoor has been confirmed as the new host of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, stepping in for Salman Khan, who is unable to continue due to his film schedule.
JioCinema, the platform streaming the show, teased the new host on its official social media handles with a 25-second video. The teaser features a stylish man in red shoes walking while clips from previous seasons play in the background. The suspense builds until the man, revealed to be Anil Kapoor, whistles and says, “Kursi manga re…” A voiceover then says, “Kuch karte hai na jhakaas,” to which Kapoor responds, “Bahaut hogaya re jhakaas, karte hain na kuch aur khaas.”
Anil Kapoor’s charismatic entry promises a fresh and exciting season for viewers. The first series of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ was hosted by Karan Johar, followed by Khan, making Kapoor the third host of the show.
It launches in June.
