Box Office: ‘RRR’ indefinitely postponed due to new Covid 19 restrictions

As BizAsiaLive.com reported a few days ago, there’s now been confirmation that the release of multi-starrer ‘RRR’ has been indefinitely postponed due to new Covid 19 restrictions in place.

India is experiencing a surge in Omicron cases and have had many restrictions put back in which had been relaxed a few months ago. This includes curfews and a ban on social gatherings. As such, the team of ‘RRR’, which was scheduled for 7th January release has been postponed.

Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love. #RRRPostponed #RRRMovie pic.twitter.com/JlYsgNwpUO
