Box Office: ‘Cirkus’ proves a damp squib on Day One in India

Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ has taken a dull start at the box office, according to Box Office India Worldwide.

The film starring Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde fetched around just 10-15% and its unlikely it will see a major jump. Usually, Shetty film perform well in Maharashtra and Gujarat but this time around, ‘Cirkus’ has proved a let down.

The film should have benefitted from the Christmas holiday, however, it seems the trailer and music have not connected well with audiences.
