Box Office: ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ & ‘Maidaan’ rejected

Last week’s two Eid releases ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidaan’ have emerged as big disasters at the box office.

According to latest figures, the Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff action-thriller, could only manage around Rs. 2 crore on Monday, taking its total to just Rs. 41.50 crore nett since its release.

Similarly, the Ajay Devgn football film ‘Maidaan’ clocked in Rs. 1.5 crore on Monday, taking the film’s total business so far to around Rs. 23 crore nett.

Despite the long Eid weekend, the performances of the two films have sent concerning signals to the industry.
