Taapsee Pannu set for re-shoot of ‘Shabaash Mithu’?

After director Rahul Dholakia opted out of the Mithali Raj biopic ‘Shabaash Mithu’, it seems there could be a re-shoot for some of the portions under new director Srijit Mukherji.

The Taapsee Pannu starrer’s shoot came to a halt when Ramoji Rao Studios had to shut due to the coronavirus restrictions. A source told Box Office Worldwide, “Their next shoot stop was Bengaluru, where a Kannada star would have joined the cast”.

Prior to Dholakia’s exit, it’s thought that 25-30% of the film was already shot. The makers are now discussing whether a new shoot is needed with Mukherji.
