Following the lukewarm response to ‘Hungama 2’, Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s next ‘Nikamma’ has also reportedly been postponed indefinitely amid the ongoing investigation into her husband, Raj Kundra’s pornography allegations.
A source was cited in Filmfare saying, “It did affect the film’s performance. There was a campaign on social media to boycott the film. The. OTT platform didn’t take it seriously. Or maybe they just ignored it in the hope that the film won’t get affected. But it did.”
The report adds that ‘Hungama 2’ has witnessed an approximate 15% drop in viewership. Meanwhile, ‘Nikamma’ also stars Abhimanyu Dassani.
