Security heightened at shoot of Salman Khan’s next ‘Sikandar’

Following the shocking murder of politician Baba Siddique, security around the shooting of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ has been significantly heightened.

According to a report by Mid-Day, the production team initially intended to shoot the next schedule in Hyderabad, but due to increased safety concerns, they opted to shift the location to Mumbai.

The decision was made to ensure Khan’s safety, as security around the superstar has become a top priority, especially after gunfire was reported near his residence in Bandra earlier this year. Locations in Mumbai are now being scouted, and the specifics will be kept confidential, known only to select members of the team.

Khan’s security, which was previously bolstered to include a team of 10-15 members, will now be doubled, following renewed threats. The late Baba Siddique was a close friend of Khan, and authorities are investigating whether his murder was linked to his association with the actor. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has a history of threatening Khan, is suspected of being involved in the attack as a possible warning.
