Salman Khan gets fresh death threat; apologise or pay Rs. 5 Crore

Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat.

According to ABP Live, a message was sent to Mumbai Traffic Police claiming to be from Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother. The sender demanded that the actor either apologise at a Bishnoi community temple or pay a ransom of Rs. 5 crore, or face death.

“This is Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishnoi community) temple and apologise or pay Rs. 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active,” read the alleged message.

The threat stems from the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, which continues to fuel tensions between Khan and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

This follows a series of threats and heightened security for Khan after the firing incident outside his Mumbai residence in April this year and the murder of his close aide, politician Baba Siddique recently in October.
