‘RRR’ release to be postponed due to Covid 19 restrictions?

After the confirmation that ‘Jersey’ has been postponed from its 31st December release, rumours are rife that the same will soon be announced for ‘RRR’ which is due for release in cinemas on 7th January.

According to the latest buzz, the Covid 19 restrictions – due to Omicron – being imposed in the sub-continent in various states could mean the same or similar fate for a number of films. ‘RRR’ is due to be the first release of the year in cinemas and, so far, whenever anyone involved in the film have been asked, they have said the film will continue with its 7th January release, as planned.

A report in Box Office Worldwide, the distributors of the film are urging the producers to delay the film’s release.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR and Ram Charan and is directed by SS Rajamouli.
