Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly been confirmed as the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in the sequel to the 2012 romantic hit ‘Cocktail’.
Kapoor will step into the role previously portrayed by Saif Ali Khan, and the sequel will feature two female leads.
This marks Mandanna’s third collaboration with Maddock Films, following her projects ‘Chhaava’ with Vicky Kaushal and the upcoming ‘Thama’ with Ayushmann Khurrana.
The second female lead is yet to be finalised, with speculation pointing towards another actress who has previously worked with Maddock Films.
