Ranveer Singh’s Hindi remake of ‘Aparichit’ helmed by S Shankar “on hold”

Ranveer Singh’s much-anticipated project with director S Shankar, a Hindi remake of the acclaimed film ‘Aparichit’, has been put on hold.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, S Shankar addressed the rumours. He revealed that the project is currently on hold due to the producers’ aspirations for a larger-scale film.

“We had planned to make Aparichit in Hindi, but after that announcement, a lot of films were coming. Our producers want me to do a film bigger than Aparichit, so it is on hold right now. After the release of these two films, we will decide how to take it forward,” Shankar explained.
