Kriti Sanon has reportedly been roped in by filmmaker Aanand L Rai for a new horror-comedy, tentatively titled ‘Nayi Naveli’.
The duo is currently collaborating on ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, which also stars Dhanush.
According to a source quoted by Pinkvilla, “Kriti Sanon has been discussing multiple collaborations with Aanand L Rai and holds great admiration for his work. She has loved the script of a horror-comedy being produced by ALR and has given her approval. The project is expected to go on floors by mid-2025, after a significant portion of Tere Ishq Mein has been completed.”
The source added, “Horror-comedies are the trend right now, and Nayi Naveli promises to bring a fresh twist to the genre. Kriti is particularly excited about the unique dynamics of her character and how the folklore-inspired narrative unfolds on a grand scale.”
