Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh seeks police protection after ‘Liger’ failure

Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is seeking police protection after receiving alleged threats from film distributors following the debacle of ‘Liger’.

Reports say that distributors are planning to protest in front of his Hyderabad house, if Jagannadh does not settle losses of ‘Liger’.

In his police statement, the filmmaker said that distributors cannot threaten or blackmail him and should have filed a civil case if they felt he or his firm owes them any amount.
