Emraan Hashmi to star in Akshay Kumar’s next backed by Karan Johar?

Karan Johar, Raj Mehta and Akshay Kumar are reportedly planning to reunite after the success of ‘Good Newwz’ (2019).

Rumours are rife that the KJo and Mehta will be working together for the comedy thriller, which is expected to star Kumar and Emraan Hashmi for the first time. It is said that the film is a remake of the 2019 Malaylam film ‘Driving Licence’. Kumar will be playing a superstar, while Hashmi will be seen as motor vehicle inspector.

However, before Mehta begins work on this project, he is expected to complete the family drama ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
