‘Cirkus’ release date to be changed? Rohit Shetty clarifies

Director Rohit Shetty’s next collaboration with Ranveer Singh is the upcoming ‘Cirkus’ which also stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is slated for release on 15th July but there have been rumours that the date could change. Shetty has clarified on the matter.

As reported by Pinkvilla, Shetty has said he will take a final call soon on whether the film will retain that initial release date announced. He said he is going to wait for the backlog of films coming up to be cleared of Covid-19 restrictions before he makes a decision.

Shetty’s last movie ‘Sooyavanshi’ released in October 2021 and was the first film to do so in cinemas since they were closed due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, cinemas have been closed in most states again due to new variant Omicron.
