Box Office: ‘Shamshera’ starts off slow in India

Ranbir Kapoor’s much awaited new release ‘Shamshera’ has had a slow start at the box office in India.

The historical movie, which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, is said to have had an opening around 15-20% in early trading, according to Box Office India. The film’s opening is likely to be best in Delhi / UP.

‘Shamshera’ is the third release this year from Yash Raj Films. Their previous two projects ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ proved box office duds.
