Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sky Force’ release postponed to January 2025?

After a series of underperforming releases, Akshay Kumar appears to be rethinking his strategy by postponing the release of his upcoming film ‘Sky Force’.

Initially scheduled to hit cinemas on 2nd October, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, the film, which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, is now expected to release on the 76th India Republic Day in January 2025. An official announcement regarding the new release date is anticipated soon.

In a previous report, a source from the exhibition sector shed light on the decision to delay the film’s release. The source stated, “The film has been pushed back and will not be hitting theaters on October 2. Akshay Kumar, considering his recent releases and their performance at the box office, is looking to reinvigorate himself before diving further into shooting ‘Sky Force’. The makers want some gap between two releases of Akshay Kumar.”

This move seems to be part of Akshay Kumar’s effort to regroup and ensure his next release has a stronger impact at the box office.
