There was news some time ago that Akshay Kumar would be doing a film with Priyadarshan but not much has been said about it. BizAsia can reveal that the project is expected to roll next year.
Priyadarshan told Pinkvilla, “My film with him is on the scripting stage. Few things are happening, and the film got delayed because of Covid. Two years of pushing has happened, so it is all under discussion. But I am doing a film with him”.
The filmmaker refuted rumours that he’s working on a second instalment of 2004’s ‘Hulchul’, “I have not decided anything. I am just shooting some ads. I haven’t decided what to do next in Hindi. Lot of projects are being discussed, but nothing is finalised. Everyday new discussions happen, but nothing is decided”.
Kumar has his kitty full with films this year including ‘Rakshabandhan’, ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Prithviraj’.
