Following the underwhelming response to ‘Baby John’, Atlee is reportedly eyeing Shahid Kapoor for his next venture, an original action-thriller.
A source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Shahid has been in discussions with Atlee about a high-octane entertainer, which will be directed by one of Atlee’s associates. Talks have been ongoing for the past five months, and the actor is close to signing the dotted line.”
Unlike ‘Baby John’, this project is set to be an original concept. The source added, “Atlee has developed the script alongside his associate and believes Shahid Kapoor is the perfect fit for the role. Discussions are at an advanced stage, and things are expected to finalise soon.”
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is also busy working on Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming action-packed thriller, ‘Arjun Ustara’.
