In a turn for the book, it appears that Abhishek Bachchan has bought the rights for 2019 Tamil film ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ and he is hoping to bring it to the Hindi audiences.
A report in Filmfare suggests the actor has been a part of a few meeting in Chennai for the remake rights. The Tamil version was written by Parthiban, who also starred in it. Similarly, Bachchan will apparently be starring in the Hindi version as well as producing it.
The original film won two National Awards and Parthiban will apparently also be directing the Hindi remake, with some scripting tweaks being worked on between him and Bachchan.
