Watch the arrival of Indian Navy Ship, Tarangini

Indian Navy Sail Training Ship Tarangini is arriving in London on 14th August for a port call or visit to London from 14th to 17th August 2022. The visit is coinciding with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) – 75th Independence Day of India.
INS Tarangini is Indian Navy’s first Sail Training Ship and was built in Goa Shipyard. The name Tarangini is derived from the Hindi word ‘Tarang’ meaning waves, thus Tarangini means ‘the one that rides the waves’. INS (Indian Navy Ship) Tarangini will be berthing at Thames Quay, West India Dock, E14 9SG (near DLR South Quay Station) at 4PM on 14 Aug 2022.
