Pioneers of UK Bollywood concerts, Rock On Music and household hair colour brand, Bigen, tied-up with Lyca Radio for a special Yash Chopra Day on Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August 2021.
We scrapped our regular programming and instead presenters played Yash Chopra tracks all day from 06:00 to 22:00. The films will include music from the Yash Raj Films catalogue including classics like ‘Kabhi Kabhie’, ‘Silsila’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ and more recent ones such as ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, ‘Fanaa’ and ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’.
Since the appointment of Raj Baddhan as Lyca Media’s CEO, Lyca Radio has aired a number of special initiatives as a treat for its listeners. Earlier in the year, Lyca Radio ran International Women’s Day, 90s Bollywood Day, Nadeem Shravan Day and a number of other exciting properties to lure listeners.

Rock On Music is holding the Magnificent Four concert featuring ‘Indian Idol 12’ finalists on Saturday 30th October at The SSE Arena, Friday 5th November at Blue Room and Saturday 6th November at Troxy E1.
