Krushna Abhishek & Sudesh Lehri to reunite on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ after 2017 fallout

Comedians Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri were a popular comic force on television. They first appeared together on ‘Comedy Circus’ (2007) on Sony TV. And since then, they were seen in several comedy shows together. However, the pair parted ways after major fallout in 2017. But now, and with the help of time it seems, they have reunited for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’

Sony TV released the first promo of the new season of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ recently, which featured a clip regarding the Lehri and Abhishek reunion, reports India Today.

Reasons behind the 2017 argument included ‘The Drama Company’ (2017) being referred to as Abhishek’s show, with no equal credit given. At the time, Abhishek also confirmed having differences with Lehri and said that they did not communicate beyond work. There were also reports of shooting being stalled for five hours over some creative differences between the pair.

Speaking about the fallout, Abhishek had said that they had differences and ego hassles. He said, “Whatever I have learnt about comedy is because of Sudeshji. During Comedy Circus, he would get better lines than me, but I never complained. A comedy show is not run by an individual, it requires teamwork. I can’t help it if people are calling The Drama Company my show.”
